One dance you'll never forget, and why

Acro 2023, when we had to change counts backstage right before we went on.A teacher or coach you'd like to thank

I’d like to thank Ainsley for being such a good instructor and pushing me past my limits in Acro.

A teammate or friend who made your time special

Carly has been one of my closest friends ever since I joined Tumbleweeds right after COVID. Carly always pushed me, supported me, and made me laugh all at once.

Something dance taught you beyond the steps

To be strict on yourself and to know you can push through mental blocks

One way dance helped you grow

It helped me grow in my tumbling and mental strengths

Advice for younger dancers

Don’t be lazy, push through the hard workouts for yourself, so you can be better

What's next after graduation

I am committed to Frostburg State University to compete in NCAA Division II Acrobatics & Tumbling. I plan to major in Behavioral Sciences and minor in Psychology.

How dance will start part of your life

Dance and gymnastics helped me achieve where I am today; without gymnastics, there is no way I could have made the acrobatics and tumbling team.

Please recognize anyone you would like to thank for your dance experiences.

First of all, I want to thank God for preventing me from injury and keeping my passion for this sport strong. I want to thank my mom and dad for allowing me to start here at the studio and for supporting me throughout every year. Thank you to all my other family members who have supported me, like my grandparents. Thank you to all my friends and my family here at the shop. Thank you to Carly for being my very best friend, and thank you to Candace and Alana for making senior year so much fun here, even though I'm not in dance with you guys. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through my journey.
